Project Blog Week Three: Vote For Your Favorite!
Update - comments are closed, as is voting for this week, but it will open again on Thursday!
The blogtestant entries are beginning to roll in, so that means it is time to vote for your favorite! The reader poll counts for 5 points in the overall score. First place gets 3 points, second place 2, and third place 1. Each judge also gets 5 points to distribute as they want, and the person with the overall highest score WINS! So, your votes could determine the winner this week and the blogger who gets immunity in next week’s competition.
In this week’s challenge, blogtestants were asked to give us a post in just 50 words. If you played along, don’t forget to send me your link!
The blogtestants:
1. Winnie, Watching the View: “The State of the View Address”
2. Sally, Style Fix: “Deck My Halls with Lights, and Ornaments, and Shiny New Dresses”
3. Kate, Babylune: “Fifty Words on Babylune for Project Blog”
4. Jodie, Gossip on Sports: “The Supermodel Effect”
5. Mark, Get Incensed: “Project Blog #3: Conveying the Get Incensed Style In 50 Words — Like Speed Chess, Only Harder .. And No, The Headline Doesn’t Count Because Then It Would Be Practically Impossible”
6. Kara, Colorado Review: “Stuck at Denver International Airport?”
7. Cynthia
Blogtestants are listed above by time of post and below by their previous week’s points. They have until Friday at 8 AM to post! If you came here from one of their sites, I encourage you to check out the other entries before voting. You can vote once every 24 hours, and the polls officially close Tuesday at noon! Happy voting!
Update - voting is closed until Thursday. Remember, this is part of a two-week competition, so the votes will be combined. As of now, Winnie is in the lead, followed by Jodie, then Kate. Sally, Mark, Kara, and Cynthia bring up the end (in that order). Thanks for your voting so far!
AND DON’T FORGET: After you vote, leave a comment here telling everyone who you’re voting for and why (it can be anonymous). Use a valid email address, because leaving a comment will put you in the running to win an awesome surprise prize from Reality on Bravo next week!

I voted for Winnie, because she expressed how most of the long time viewers of the View are feeling. Her post was clean and precise. She was able to tie it all together with references to the past and present hosts.

I voted for winnie. Her post was creative and got across a point in very few words.

I voted for Winnie as I felt her post was creative and intuitive. I believe it expressed what a lot of viewers want,
less sugar more spice.

I voted for Jodie because…..WOW, Adriana Lima sure makes me want to dribble my ball the best I can; not to mention court her!

Good Job Winnie! I’ve voted for Kate the past two weeks, but I liked the wittiness Winnie used. Excellent work..

I voted for Jodie because her snarky humor trumps all.

I voted for Winnie. She inspired me to watch the View (I don’t, usually) to see if it really is a train wreck. It is. Thanks, Winnie!

I voted for me because, yikes! I have to make up for last week’s uh-oh in the points department. Plus, the whole supermodel thing on my blog this week is really convincing me to book that trip to South America for inspiration.

I voted for Mark and his blogging/dating strategy. I figured I owed him that much.

Oh no! One blogger has a cute baby picture; another has a hot, half-naked supermodel … I’ve got no chance! And then of course, there’s one with a chess photo, too. Ayiyiy!
Anyways, voted for me!
Seems Jodie may be stealing some of my voting population this week ahh!

Note to worry, Sally. You write about fashion, so . . . you might have a chance to use a supermodel in a future challenge!

I think it’s a close, close, close race this week.

Winnie gets my vote — notice how she creatively got extra mileage out of that 50-word limit by using that particular photo of all the gals in black. Are they dressed for the cocktail party that Joy says The View is? Or for the wake that many of its Viewers think it’s headed for? Congratulations, Winnie!

I voted for Kate. I feel her entry - full of wit in her choice of words - was the most informative. Her first set of linked words led to past entries to other posts by experts or those with insights into her subject.

[...] Other People Entered, But You Should Vote for Me by Sally Andersen Have you been keeping up with Bravo’s fashion designer challenge reality show Project Runway? It’s okay if you haven’t, because more importantly (well, more importantly to those of us in the contest at least) is that you keep up with Project Blog! [...]

I voted for Winnie because I halways found her posts to be the most interesting and thought provoking to read.
I also voted for Winnie because the same person won twice in a row despite that person being beat in the polling by Winnie.

Jodie makes me laugh on a daily basis!
