I’m a huge fan of any company working to help the environment, and at Ecoist, they’re combining environmental responsibility with something else I love - fashion! Now that’s what I call environmental responsibility!

I would love to win one of those bracelets. I like to wear environmentally friendly jewelry and other items that prompt questions and discussion so that I have an easy opening to talk about why I am so passionate about ecology and conservation. This is a perfect attention grabber!

I voted for Winnie’s great blog on The View and now found myself here, looking at these great eco products. I have seen such things at folk-art museum gifts shops but they were exhorbitant. I’m so happy to see them available and priced for “regular people.”
I’d also love to see a contest (sponsored by Ecoist?) for the best eco product or craft submitted by a blog reader. It would not only be a unique opportunity for us crafty folks–it would also be a great opportunity for everyone involved (crafters and eventual buyers) to think harder about how to create items out of everyday objects, to do our part to cut down on overconsumption. Since the holidays are coming up, it would be perfect timing, too, for gift ideas.
