Lauri has Changed
According to recent reports, Lauri Waring is a changed lady.
On The Real Housewives of Orange County, Lauri is the rags to riches to rags to riches girl. After losing everything in a divorce, she regained her OC status by working for Vicki and then hooking up with millionaire George.
Her son, Josh, who has been in and out of trouble with the law, says his mom as changed–that shes “a totally different person” and not a good parent. After moving in with George, she left the townhouse to Josh on the condition that there would be no parties. After coming home and finding a few of his friends over, she kicked him out (apparently her view of what is and is not a party differs from Josh’s view). He was forced to leave college because he had no transportation and apparently moved in with George’s ex wife. That’s not awkward at all.
Josh calls her a bad mom and says that he put on a face for her for the show this season. He thinks that the show may have gone to her head. (Personally, if anything, I think the millions George is dropping on her is what’s going to her head!)
Is all of this true? Who knows. We only have Josh’s side of the story. He’s on the record as resenting his mother, but she has yet to publicaly respond.
One thing is for sure–things are never quite in Orange County!

I hear Lauri talk alot on the show about how Josh needs to take responsibility for his actions. Why doesn’t Lauri ever have to take any responsibility for the chaos she created in his life? She’s the parent and the adult, right?
He seems like a really bright, articulate, sensitive kid. I wish him the best.

I agree Angi, he seems like a kid trying to leave his past behind and have a brighter future. He needs parents that will help him do that.

There was this guy see.
He wasn’t very bright and he reached his adult life without ever having learned “the facts”.
Somehow, it gets to be his wedding day.
While he is walking down the isle, his father tugs his sleeve and says,
