Hey, Paula! Hello!
Tonight, Hey Paula premiered on Bravo. I’m not sure yet how good the ratings will be…but I was entertained! Hey Paula is a prime example of what Bravo does best–shows the lives of real people. Paula Abdul has been surrounded with her share of rumors (most of all that she’s a drunk/stoner/pill popper), and this show gives Bravo and Paula the chance to show her real life. That includes her breakdowns, her goofiness, and her successes. This is a tradition Bravo has shown in a number of shows, including The Real Housewives of Orange County, Workout, and Inside the Actor’s Studio.
Best quote of the night? “The last time I had a hit record, Bill and Hillary were having sex…(whispers) that’s a long time ago.”
Paula may be crazy, but she’s a lot of fun. I think I’ll actually enjoy watching this show!

I was pleasantly surprised by this show as well. Clearly she doesn’t have the ability to say no and works too much. The jury is still out on the other stuff.

I totally forgot to watch! I should have set my TiVo. I will have to catch a re-run of it.

I really hope Paula can get some effective relief for her pain (that doesn’t make her cry).
I don’t have health insurance and can’t afford a doctor, but these OTC and herbal remedies have helped me.
1. Glucosamine chondroitin IS GREAT FOR bony joint pain. Two brands at drug stores: Osteo-Biflex and Osteo-Renew (by Nature Made). Naturemade.com has a wellness rewards program to earn free vitamins (coupons up to $7 off).
2. Heating pads right to the area of pain. Don’t sleep without one if you suffer with ongoing pain.
3. Good night’s sleep and herbal mood lifter. Being in pain can make anyone sad and depressed. When it gets too much, have a nap or go to bed — One herbal melatonin will get you to sleep in 20 minutes and a couple of St. John’s Wort or Same-E will make sure you’re not crying on your pillow.
4. Because I use the herbs and OTC meds stated above, when I’m hurting I am able to manage the actual pain with just OTC pain relievers like ASPIRIN, ibuprofen or acetaminophen.
This stuff works very well for me and maybe it could help others, especially people who are involved in expensive doctor’s treatments and prescription medications.
Also, eat your choice of candy bar every once in awhile for a mood lifter, don’t let the pain get you down.
Now when I have pain, it’s just a small annoyance, I know what to do to make it go away and it’s not such a big deal.
God bless. Hope this helps anybody out there who is suffering from pain.
