Exclusive Tim Gunn Photographs
Why are they exclusive? BECAUSE I WAS THERE! My friend Beth took these pictures of Tim as we stood in line to talk to him at Browseabout Books in Rehobeth Beach, Delaware. That man is fabulous.

Me, in line after buying Tim’s new book (yes, two copies)

The Gunn family arrives–Tim’s mother lives in Bethany Beach, so she came out to support her son, and the stunning beauty with the silver hair is Tim’s sister, also showing support

Tim talked to the crowd for about 20 minutes before the meet and greet. His new show sounds great, and I can’t wait to watch! He also announced that they’ve just shot the last episode of Project Runway, and it will begin showing in November!

He told us that he’d stay and sign books as long as there was a line (and it was almost out the door when I left!) I was about 10th in line, and he was SOOO nice–answered lots of questions, signed every book, and posed for pictures with everyone!

Beth and I with Tim

Ok, maybe we were a little TOO excited!
More news and Tim Gunn coming later this week!

I took one look at Tim’s mom and started to cry!!! She reminds me a great deal of MY late mom, who’s been gone 11 years now!!! Is Tim’s sister the one holding the pen? I’d like to know. BTW, did he say anything abt letting us e-mail him from time to time? Thanks.

Ellen,
Mrs. Gunn was so very proud of her son–you could just tell. The whole family has such a sense of humor and loves each other a lot.
Yes, Tim’s sister is the one holding the pen (in the white).
As for contact Tim, I would suggest purchasing a copy of his book, Tim Gunn’s Guide to Quality, Taste, and Style, and writing a letter to him c/o the publisher. You can also try leaving some messages on the Project Runway blogs!
Best wishes! I hope the pictures brightened your day!

Ah, the Gunn! I’m way jealous, but that’s great that you were able to meet him. I’d be curious to see a book review.

[...] Tim Gunn: Guide to Style and The View by Allison Did ya’ll watch Tim Gunn on The View yesterday? The man is fabulous. I never get over how well-spoken he is. Some celebs are great when they’re taped, but not as eloquent in real life. The Gunn is as awesome in real life as he is on tape (and I’m drawing on my own experiences as well, not just from his talk show appearences–I met him back in July.) [...]
