Carson Kressley: How to Look Good Naked
Recently, Carson Kressley, of Queer Eye for the Straight Guy fame gave a little chat about one of the most important subjects in fashion: How to look good naked. I guess he feels as though there are too many ugly, naked people out there.
Ok, Ok, these pictures of his little talk actually have to do with him promoting a new show, How to Look Good Naked, which premiers tonight on the Lifetime channel at 9 PM. The Fab Five may be going their separate ways, but they aren’t dropping off the face of the earth.
The show will feature women who aren’t that skinny, perfect, model type, and Carson will teach them how to not only find great clothes for their body shape and size, but also how to rock out the world, even in the buff. That’s right, according to reports, each show will culminate with a nude photography shoot.
Don’t get too excited, though. This is lifetime we’re talking about. It’s not like there will be nipples flashing everywhere!
I absolutely love the concept of this show. I’m a fan of What Not to Wear and other fashion shows, but sometimes I have to laugh at the things they suggest. Sorry, but I’m not going to spend $100 on jeans, even if they do fit my butt slightly better than ones I get for $30. Fashion isn’t THAT important. I think sometimes that these makeover shows get too caught up on the outside and forget that this person is still the same in the inside. It takes more than a week with Stacy London to feel beautiful.
I’ll be interested to see how this show works…someone remind me to watch it tonight!
