An Interview with Jackie Warner

by Allison

Jesse, brian, and jackie_1.jpgJackie Warner is still around, even if her hit Bravo show, Work Out isn’t on TV right now. Recently, I saw this interview with Jackie on the internet:

What is your number one tip for clients who have plateaued or are struggling with motivation?

There is only one solution when a client plateaus: change the workout plan or routine. The trainer looks at everything, diet and forms of exercise, and will make changes to both. They may, for instance, add something like kick-boxing to the client’s plan. You also need to continuously raise resistance in your weight routine. If you’re not sore after, you’re not working.”

To read more of this awesome interview, head over to Adventures in the Stiletto Jungle! She goes into information about what to eat, what to drink, and how to make sure you are being as effective as possible during your workouts.

This is another reason why I love Jackie - she isn’t just a pretty face. She actually is very good at what she does, and although it will cost you an arm and a leg to work out with her, if you’re trying to lose weight, it’s worth it. Jackie definitely knows her stuff, and her trainers are only the best.

After all, you can’t lose weight with diet alone. Although that’s a big part of it, an even bigger part is exercise and weight training, Jackie’s gym, Sky Sport and Spa, is a premier place in Cali to get the job done. Oh, and don’t forget to check out her new active wear clothing line, which should be available for the public around January.

When will Work Out be back on television? Bravo hasn’t announced the season three release date yet. However, I do know that they are filming (or perhaps have finished by now), so it can’t be tooooooo far away! Work Out isn’t my favorite Bravo show, but I do enjoy learning about great work out and diet tips, and the show is never short on that kind of advice. My main question? With the death of Doug (RIP), will Jacki be adding a new trainer to the show?
